WHAT DOES THE WORD “MINISTRY” MEAN?
The word "ministry" means service. Christian servants are people who make themselves available to God for the benefit of others.
In the Bible, ministry is any activity by which God can say “It is good” (Genesis 1:31). Ministry has significance to God when it is done in faith, hope and love (1 Corinthians 3:9- 15;13:13; 1 Thessalonians 1:3).
The Trinity Vineyard Cuenca community prays for others because by the word of God we are commanded to do so. Also, we believe that we are motivated to seek God’s blessings of healing, encouragement and restoration.
The time of prayer ministry typically occurs at the end of the weekend services. The basic intent is to provide opportunity for anyone to receive prayer and pray for those in need.
Our ministries
WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is the way we make contact with God. It is also one of the most self-revealing acts of a human being.
Through prayer, we let God know what we need and where we hurt. More importantly, prayer is hearing God’s voice in our lives. The Bible teaches us to pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
WORSHIP
is about encountering God in a deep and personal way
Through worship, we turn our attention away from the pressures and stresses of daily life and, through song, we honor God for what He has done for us.
The Bible teaches that God “dwells in the midst of our praises.” It is during worship that many people really feel God touching them at their point of greatest need. You will see people with their eyes closed and their hands up, they may even be crying. God is doing something in them at that moment.
What is worship time like at Trinity Vineyard Watershed
We worship for 20-30 minutes. It takes time for people to refocus and open up to God.
We project the words of the songs on a video screen instead of using a song book.
We try to sing songs that resonate with the heart of our church, those that express what you are feeling.
EVANGELISM
We believe in taking God's love beyond the four walls of the temple. Through our Evangelism Ministry, we go out to share hope, faith and compassion with those who need it most.
In the Evangelism Ministry we are in charge of preparing breakfasts and lunches for people who are in hospital waiting rooms and for those who are homeless, we offer to pray for them and their situation so that God can take control, accompany them in those moments and that they can know more about Him. We offer prayer, words of encouragement and the Gospel message. We know that a prayer can bring comfort, and a simple gesture can be a reminder of God’s love.
MERCY
La oración es la forma en que hacemos contacto con Dios.
En el ministerio de Evangelismo nos encargamos de preparar desayunos y almuerzos para las personas que están en las salas de espera de los hospitales y para aquellos que no tienen hogar, les ofrecemos orar por ellos y su situación para que Dios tome el control, los acompañe en esos momentos y que puedan conocer más de Él. Ofrecemos oración, palabras de aliento y el mensaje del Evangelio. Sabemos que una oración puede traer consuelo, y un gesto sencillo puede ser un recordatorio del amor de Dios.
YOUTH
Es llevar el amor de Dios más allá de las cuatro paredes del templo. Compartimos esperanza, fe y compasión con quienes más lo necesitan.
The Teen Ministry is designed to guide young people through a crucial stage of their lives. We offer relevant Bible teachings, conversation spaces, recreational activities and worship times that help them strengthen their faith, discover their purpose in Christ and develop healthy friendships. We want every teenager to know that they are not alone and that God has a wonderful plan for their life.
CHILDRENS
Es llevar el amor de Dios más allá de las cuatro paredes del templo. Compartimos esperanza, fe y compasión con quienes más lo necesitan.
n our Children’s Ministry, we plant the truths of God’s Word in the hearts of the youngest children. Through dynamic classes, games, songs and creative activities, children learn about the love of Jesus, Christian values and how to live a life that pleases God. Our goal is to form a firm spiritual foundation in each child in a safe, joyful and loving environment.
